The deployment options for ThreatDown Mobile Security for Business include Mobile Device Management (MDM) to automate the installation and token activation, and Email sharing to deploy to individual recipients. With Email sharing, the end user is required to manually complete the installation process.
Add Mobile Security subscription
First, the mobile device type must be selected for each site's subscription. For more information, see Add sites in OneView.
Once that is done, the mobile tab displays in the Downloads Center.
NOTICE - Mobile endpoints register in the console with their Universally Unique Identifier (UUID). For MDM deployments, the device hostname is automatically reflected in the console. If you don't use an MDM, it is recommended to take note of the device's UUID before deploying it, so that it can be easily identified in the console. To make things easier in the future, use an endpoint alias to give the device a more recognizable name. For more information, see Endpoints page in OneView.
MDM with Mobile Security for Business
Use an MDM tool to automate the deployment of Mobile Security for Business. This removes the need for end users to manually complete the installation and enter an activation token. Users are still required to manually enable system permissions and accept the privacy policy.
- iOS: Apple App Store
- Android: Google Play Store
