Overview of Firewall Management in OneView

Firewalls serve as a barrier between a trusted internal network and untrusted external networks, such as the internet. They protect against unauthorized access, malicious activities, and various cyber threats. The Firewall Management add-on enables admins to monitor threats, strengthen cybersecurity defenses, and improve the overall security posture across managed sites. 

This add-on provides the following features:

• Centralized management to ensure consistent security policies across Windows endpoints.
• Simplified process to update and apply firewall rules across all Windows endpoints.
• View detailed information on network traffic across Windows endpoints.

Firewall Management is included with an active subscription to Endpoint Detection and Response.

Complete these 4 quick steps to get started:

1. Create a firewall rule.
2. Add the firewall rule to a rule group.
3. Create a firewall policy.
4. Apply the firewall policy to a OneView policy.
