Customize the block page end users reach when a page is blocked by DNS Filtering by changing the company logo or specifying a message to users.
Customize block page
- On the left navigation menu, go to Monitor > DNS Filtering.
- Select the Block Page tab. Each site with a subscription for DNS Filtering display on this page.
- To customize the block page, click the ellipsis
button under the Actions column > Edit.
- Global (All Sites): Make a generic block page that displays for all sites.

Site-specific block page: Customize the look and feel of the block page for a specific site. These settings override the global block page settings.
- To revert back to the global block page settings for this site, click Reset to Global Block Page.
- Disable Use ThreatDown default block page.
- Complete the following fields and preview your changes on the right:
- Site: Select which sites are assigned this block page. If a site is not assigned, it will use the ThreatDown default block page.
- Organization's name: The company name displayed below the logo.
- Logo URL: Verify the logo URL is not blocked in your DNS rules. Use the lookup domain categories feature to identify if your logo URL is blocked. For more information, see Create DNS Filtering site exclusions in OneView.
- Header text: Title of the message to display to the user.
- Message: Message to display to the user.
- Admin email: Provides a button called Contact your administrator for users to click when they have questions about the block. When clicked, an email is drafted to this email address.
- Email subject line: When a user clicks Contact your administrator, the email draft includes this pre-populated subject line.
- Background color: Set the background color of the block page.
- In the top right, click Save.
Return to DNS Filtering.
