If you receive the following error message in OneView:
" Browser Phishing Protection web extension couldn't be installed"
Then this is due to one of the following reasons:
- The Browser Phishing Protection plugin failed to download due to network reasons.
- The Browser Phishing Protection plugin couldn't install due to a conflict in the registry.
To resolve this issue:
- Verify the network access requirements are met. For more information, see Network access requirements and firewall settings for OneView.
- Disable the policy setting Prevent endpoint agent from installing web extension on MDM managed endpoints policy setting. This setting is intended for endpoints that are managed by Mobile Device Management tools. For more information, see Protection policy settings in OneView.
- If the issue persists, collect diagnostic logs and contact Support. For more information, see Collect Endpoint Agent diagnostic logs in OneView.
