To ensure protection and functionality, meet specific requirements before implementing the Email Security add-on. This facilitates a smoother setup and strengthens your clients' defenses. The following sections detail the prerequisites and constraints for Email Security.
Requirements
- A paid subscription for Incident Response, Endpoint Protection, or Endpoint Detection and Response.
- Email Security subscription added to the OneView site. See Add a subscription.
- Global Admin, Site Admin, or Customer Admin role in OneView.
- Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace business domains.
- Global Admin access for Microsoft 365 or Super Admin access for Google Workspace.
Constraints
- If your client site uses both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace across different domains, only one email provider can be supported per site.
- If your client has multiple email domains, they all must belong to the same tenant. Domains split across multiple tenants are not supported.
- A maximum of 25,000 mailboxes is supported. If you need to protect more than that, contact Support to have this limit increased.
- For Microsoft 365, on-premise Exchange is not supported.
