After completing the initial setup and receiving the confirmation email that mailbox sync is finished, mailboxes automatically appear on the Configurations > Mailboxes page.
Use this page to mark your executive's mailboxes as VIP, sync different mailbox groups, or disable certain mailboxes from being monitored.
Actions menu
Select the checkbox next to the First name column to select a mailbox. Then click the Actions button at the top-right and choose from one of the following actions:
- Assign as VIP: Add a VIP tag to add an additional layer of protection to high-risk individuals more prone to Business Email Compromise (BEC) and impersonation attacks.
- Remove as VIP: Stop monitoring the mailbox as a VIP.
- Enable Protection: Turns on protection for the selected mailboxes from email threats.
- Disable Protection: Turns off protection for the selected mailboxes.
- Download .csv: Export a report in .csv format containing the selected rows of data.
Edit synced mailboxes
Use the Edit Synced Mailboxes button in the top-right to add or remove groups from the initial mailbox group selection.
Adding or deleting specific mailboxes in mailbox groups must be done through your email provider, since we automatically sync the selected mailbox groups between OneView and your email provider.
Mailboxes table
The following columns are available on the Mailboxes table:
- First name
- Last name
- Title
- Department: Only displays if departments are determined and set within your email provider.
- Protection enabled: Manually enable or disable a mailbox from being protected. Regardless of whether protection is enabled or disabled, all synced mailboxes count towards the site's subscription usage. To view each site's subscription usage, see View monthly usage in OneView.
-
Mailbox status: Displays if the mailbox is protected or unprotected. Hover over the unprotected status to view the reason. This is usually due to one of the following reasons:
- Mailbox no longer exists or is disabled.
- Temporary sync or Exchange errors.
- Missing permissions to monitor the mailbox.
Click Add / Remove Columns to choose which columns to display.
