Assign a OneView site to a Datto RMM site

To deploy OneView with Datto RMM, a custom site variable is required. This site variable uses a OneView site account token to integrate with Datto RMM. To create a OneView site, see Add sites in OneView

After creating a OneView site, see the steps below to assign it to a Datto RMM site: 

Find site token in OneView

1. In the menu section, click Manage > Sites.
2. Find your site in the list. Click the carrot next to the site name to view details. 
3. Under the Site info section, find the Account Token.
4. Copy the account token to add to Datto RMM in the following section. 

Add Variable - New interface

1. Log in to Datto RMM. 
2. Under the menu, select Sites.
3. Click All Sites and select the site name.
4. In the settings list click Add Variable.
5. Enter the Account Token or Tamper Protection variable option:
   1. Account Token: Set this variable to assign a OneView site into Datto RMM.
      • Variable Name: MWB_accounttoken
      • Variable Value: Enter the OneView site account token to register a site in Datto RMM.
   2. Tamper Protection: Set this variable if tamper protection is enabled in OneView and you want to integrate with Datto RMM.
      • Variable Name: MWB_tamper_password
      • Variable Value: Enter the tamper protection password to register in Datto RMM.
6. Click Save Site and confirm to save site changes.

Add Variable - Old interface

1. Log in to Datto RMM. 
2. From the dashboard, click Sites.
3. Click the target site name. 
4. Click on the Settings tab. 
5. Locate Variables in the settings list. Click Add Variable.
6. Enter the Account Token or Tamper Protection variable option: 
   • Account Token: Set this variable if you need to assign a OneView site into Datto RMM. 
     • Variable Name: MWB_accounttoken
     • Variable Value: Enter the OneView site account token to register a site in Datto RMM. 
   • Tamper Protection: Set this variable if tamper protection is enabled in OneView and you want to integrate this setting with Datto RMM. 
     • Variable Name: MWB_tamper_password
     • Variable Value: Enter the tamper protection password to register in Datto RMM.
7. Click Add. The site assignment is complete.
