Deploy to endpoints using Datto RMM

The OneView integration with Datto RMM allows administrators to install or uninstall the Endpoint Agent. Verify you have all components downloaded before deploying. For more information, see Download OneView components in Datto RMM.

Deploy - New interface

1. Log in to Datto RMM.
2. In the menu section, select Automation.
3. Click Jobs > Create Job. 
4. Enter your Job Name.
5. In the Components section, click Add Component and select one or all of the following components:
   • ThreatDown OneView Endpoint Agent Deployment v2 - [MAC]
   • ThreatDown OneView Endpoint Agent Deployment v2 - [WIN]
   • ThreatDown OneView Endpoint Agent Deployment v2 - [LINUX]
   • ThreatDown OneView Endpoint Agent Deployment v2 - Server [WIN]
6. In the Variables section, click the Variable drop down.
7. Select one of the following options based on your operating system:
   1. Windows
      • Install: Installs the endpoint agent.
      • Uninstall: Uninstalls the endpoint agent.
      • Delete Corrupted EPA and restart: Deletes endpoint agent files from the device and restarts the device. 
   2. Mac
      • Install: Installs the endpoint agent.
      • Uninstall: Uninstalls the endpoint agent.
      • Delete Corrupted EPA: Deletes endpoint agent files from the device.
   3. Linux
      • Install: Installs the endpoint agent.
      • Uninstall: Uninstalls the endpoint agent.
8. In the Targets section, click Add Target and click Add to select one of the following target types: 
   • Sites: Installs the endpoint agent to all endpoints on the selected site.
   • Devices: Installs the endpoint agent to selected devices.
9. In the Schedule section, select a job schedule.
10. Click Create Job and confirm.

Deploy - Old interface

1. Log in to Datto RMM.
2. On the dashboard, click Jobs > New Job.
3. Create your job Name and choose your job Schedule. 
4. Click Add targets and select your Target Type. Recommended options below:  
   • Sites: Installs the endpoint agent to all endpoints on the selected site. 
   • Devices: Installs the endpoint agent to selected devices. 
5. Choose the install target Sites or Devices. Click Add.
6. Click Add a Component and select one or all of the following components: 
   • ThreatDown OneView Endpoint Agent Deployment v2 - [MAC]
   • ThreatDown OneView Endpoint Agent Deployment v2 - [WIN]
   • ThreatDown OneView Endpoint Agent Deployment v2 - [LINUX]
   • ThreatDown OneView Endpoint Agent Deployment v2 - Server [WIN]
7. Click Save. 
8. Click the Variable drop-down menu.
9. Select one of the following job options based on your operating system:
   • Windows
     • Install: Installs the endpoint agent. 
     • Uninstall: Uninstalls the endpoint agent.
     • Delete Corrupted EPA and restart: Deletes endpoint agent files from the device and restarts the device.  
   • Mac
     
     • Install: Installs the endpoint agent. 
     • Uninstall: Uninstalls the endpoint agent.
     • Delete Corrupted EPA: Deletes endpoint agent files from the device. 
10. At the bottom of the job window, click Save.
