The Inventory tab in OneView lists application information on your managed Windows™ and Mac™ endpoints across all sites. To get to the Inventory page, go to Monitor > Software Inventory.
This page can also be used to update software applications or remotely uninstall unwanted applications with the following add-ons:
- Vulnerability Assessment or Vulnerability & Patch Management: Uninstall software with Vulnerability & Patch Management in OneView
- Vulnerability & Patch Management: Update software with Vulnerability and Patch Management in OneView
Sort data in the results list
You can customize data in the results list in the following ways:

Reset filters: In the upper-right corner of the page, click Reset filters
to go back to the default filter settings.
- Add / Remove Columns: In the top-right of the table, click Add / Remove Columns to customize the table columns.

Column pinning and auto-sizing: Next to a column header, click the filter
button to display a checkbox list of different sub-filters you can apply. Click the filter
tab to pin or auto size for the selected column.
- Right-click menu: In the table, click and drag to select and highlight a section of the table. Right-click on your selected information to copy or export a .csv or an .xlsx file.
- Select all: Click the checkbox next to the Sites column header.
Software inventory data
The following columns of data are available on the Software Inventory page:

| Application | Name of the application requiring an update. |
| Application version | Application information of the installed version. |
| CVE count | Number of CVE's available to update. |
| CVEs by Severity | Number of CVE's separated by their severity. Hover over the line in OneView for more details. |
| Domain name | The corresponding domain of the endpoint. |
| Endpoint | Host name of the endpoint. |
| Group | The corresponding group of the endpoint. |
| Identified date | Date the available update was detected on the endpoint. |
| Ignore Rules Status |
Indicates whether the software is excluded from updates.

| Installed date | Date the update was installed on the endpoint. |
| OS platform | Windows or macOS. |
| OS release name | The public release name of the operating system. |
| OS type | Workstation or server. |
| OS version | The operating system version. |
| Site | The site the endpoint belongs to. |
| Uninstall available | This application can be uninstalled from OneView. |
| Update available | This application can be updated from OneView. |
| Vendor | Vendor name of the software requiring a patch update. |
| Version available | Displays the latest version available for this software application. Check the Update Available column to see if an update can be applied from OneView. If not, try manually updating it. |
Actions menu
The actions drop-down in the top-left allows you to do the following:
- Update software: Sends an update task to the selected endpoints and applications. The task is attempted within the next 72 hours if the endpoint is online. Items without an available update or those covered by an ignore rule are listed under the Ineligible for software update section of the confirmation window. Requires Patch Management.
- Uninstall software: Sends an uninstall task for the selected applications on the chosen endpoints. The task is attempted within the next 72 hours if the endpoint is online. Applications that do not support remote uninstallation are listed under the Ineligible for uninstall section of the confirmation window. Requires Vulnerability Assessment.

Exports: Download your Software Inventory information to your local machine for auditing purposes or external reporting. If the data size is too large to download, an email is sent instead with a link to download the export.
- Download .csv: Exports the selected rows to a .csv file.
- Download .xlsx: Exports the selected rows to a .xlsx file.
Refresh Assets
To refresh assets on the Software Inventory page:
- On the left navigation pane, go to Manage > Endpoints.
- Select endpoints.
- Click Actions > Scan Inventory and Vulnerability.
To schedule a Software Inventory Scan that refreshes assets at a specified time, go to Configure > Schedules > New. For more information, see Scheduled scans in OneView.
