The user profile settings allow users to change the console's appearance and update the profile security settings. To access the user profile settings, go to display name > Profile.
Appearance Settings
The appearance settings change how the console looks for the user.
Set time zone
OneView always stores data in UTC. By default, the console displays data in your device's time zone, but you can change this setting to display content in a different time zone.
Help center
The Chat button in the bottom right is our chatbot. The chatbot helps you find answers to common product questions or connects you with a support agent. If the button is in your way, toggle off Show the help widget serving knowledge base articles to hide or remove the chat button from the console.
Resource center
The Training Resources at the bottom-left walks users through setting up sites, deploying endpoints, and scanning endpoints.
Company identity
Contact information
Enter your company contact details. This information displays in the About dialog of the endpoint agent on Windows and macOS, so users know who to contact.
To open the About dialog:
- Windows: Hold Control and right-click on the ThreatDown Endpoint Agent in the system tray.
- Mac: Click on the ThreatDown Endpoint Agent in the Menu bar.
Company logo
Upload your company logo and choose whether to include it in PDF reports and notification emails. Uploaded images are displayed and specific to that user's profile.
Color selection
This setting changes the background color of the side menu, header, and buttons in the console for the user.
Security Settings
Use security settings to safeguard the user's profile and receive help from the support team.
Change password
This setting allows the user to change the login password. Alternatively, on the login page, you can enter your email address and click Forgot Password.
Change Session Timeout
The session timeout setting defines how long the console can remain inactive until it automatically closes the session. The default setting is 15 minutes.
Reset Two-Factor Authentication Settings
This option allows users to reconfigure their 2FA when changing authenticator apps or phones if already logged into OneView.
If you cannot log in to OneView, ask another Global Administrator to reset your 2FA from the Users page.
2FA recovery email
Manually set or change your recovery email for logging in with 2FA via a recovery code. Users must set a recovery email address with a different domain than their OneView login email to request a recovery code. This provides an extra layer of security in case your login email ever gets compromised.
Allow Read/Write access to Support
This setting gives the Support team the ability to impersonate the user and grants them the same permissions as the user in the console. While impersonating, actions performed by Support display as actions performed by the user. In the drop-down menu, select how long Support has to impersonate the user.
