App Exclusions for Application Block Rules by Category
Improvement
Added the ability to create Application Block rules by category while selectively excluding specific applications within that category. This enhancement gives more precise control over application blocking, allowing trusted or required applications to run, while continuing to block the rest of the category across the environment.

Security Advisor Score Update
This release updates how the Security Advisor score is calculated to more accurately reflect a customer's security posture. It removes the Deployment Factor from scoring and refines how recommendations contribute to the overall score.

Device Control for macOS
Feature
Admins can now manage access to external devices connected to macOS endpoints, such as USB drives. With Device Control, admins can block, allow read-only access, or grant full access to external devices. Additionally, trusted devices can be allowlisted by product, vendor, or serial number for greater flexibility and security.

Email Security Improvements
We've enhanced the Needs Attention table on the Email Security page to better highlight quarantined emails that users have requested for release. The Associated Emails table in the incident slide-out now clearly indicates when a release is requested and displays request details on hover, helping admins review and respond to user requests more efficiently.

DNS Filtering Rule Templates
Improvement
DNS Filtering now includes pre-configured rule templates that give customers immediate protection without any manual setup. Administrators can apply "Basic", "Balanced", or "Strict" protection templates in one click, reducing onboarding time and elininating the expertise previously required to build rules from scratch. This update ensures you can start with a strong baseline of threat prevention from day one.

For new and existing DNS rules, apply our pre-builT templates to receive the appropriate coverage level quickly.
Preview each template prior to applying them to a DNS rule.
Quickly add blocked activity to a rule's allowlist directly from the DNS activity page.
Added a new section to Policies to manage DNS Filtering Rules and Firewall Policies.
DNS rule description is now visible from the list view to more easily identify rules.
