The Your Workdesk tab in the Managed Detection and Response (MDR) portal is used to identify any cases that the MDR team has assigned to you and require further action.
To access the page, click MDR Portal in the top-right of Nebula, then click Your Workdesk. The following tabs are located on this page:
My Cases
Find which cases you or your role have been assigned or mentioned in. Click on Go to Case to view the specific case details.
Alternatively, click on the notification icon in the top-right to find all important notifications. For more information, see Configure notification preferences in Managed Detection and Response.
Pending Actions
Find any actions sent by the analysts requiring your approval.
Requests
View and create requests on the Requests tab. For questions related to an open case, use the case wall. For more information, see Cases overview of Managed Detection and Response.
To create a new request:
- Click the Create a new Request button, or click the + icon on the right.
Note: If a request is already open, the Create a new Request button will not display, and you must use the + icon.
- Select the Request Type.
- Support: Use to ask a general question.
- Case Request: Closed cases can't be reopened. Use to provide information or ask a follow-up question on a closed case.
- Click Save.
- Once complete, a new case is created and sent to the analyst queue for review.
