Create DNS Filtering site exclusions in OneView

The first step to using DNS Filtering is to create a site exclusion. This prevents your private or local domains from being blocked by any created DNS rules. Only enter private or local domains into the site exclusion list. Create DNS site exclusions using the Settings tab on the DNS Filtering page.

Create site exclusions

1. In the left navigation menu, click Monitor > DNS Filtering.
2. In the top left, select the Settings tab.
3. On the left, select Site Exclusions.
4. Select a OneView site. 
5. Enter an internal or private domain.
6. Click the plus icon . 
7. Click Save once all internal or private domains have been added.

Notes:

• The site exclusions list has a limit of 4000 domains.
• If a DNS reverse lookup zone is configured, add it to the site exclusion list.
• Click the delete action to remove an exclusion from the list. 

Return to DNS Filtering.
