Nebula lets you manually scan your devices to detect and remove threats, keeping your endpoints secure and malware-free. Scans can also collect hardware details and a list of installed applications, so Nebula always has updated information about your environment.
To save time, you can automate this process with scheduled scans. We've set up 4 scheduled scans for you by default. View and manage them on the Configure > Schedules page.
Default scheduled scans
Below is a list of the provided scans.
| Scan Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Daily Threat Scan (Workstation) | Checks common locations for malicious files on devices in the Default Group. |
| Daily Threat Scan (Server) | Checks common locations for malicious files on your servers. It's not configured for any groups yet because you need to select your groups of servers. |
| Weekly Full Scan | Checks all folders for malicious files on devices in the Default Group. |
| Daily Software Inventory & Vulnerability Scan | Updates the installed software list and asset information of your devices in the Default Group. Also checks for software vulnerabilities. |
You may need to update these schedules or create more based on the needs of your environment, such as changing the timing of the scan, or including more endpoint groups in the schedule.
