NOTICE - In May 2025, the Endpoint Agent reached its End of Maintenance on macOS 10.x. We encourage you to update your endpoints' operating systems to receive the latest software and security updates from Apple and ThreatDown.
Nebula and the Endpoint Agent have the following system requirements:
Nebula console requirements
To access the Nebula console, you must use the latest version of a Chromium-based browser, such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Note: Mobile browsers are not supported.
Endpoint Agent requirements
Minimum hardware and operating system requirements to install the Endpoint Agent.

Linux Server: Debian 12, Debian 11, Debian 10, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, Rocky Linux 9, Rocky Linux 8, Rocky Linux 7, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, CentOS 8, CentOS 7, Amazon Linux 2 64-bit. Linux Kernel version 3.10 is the minimum kernel version.
- Amazon Linux, Centos, and Red Hat Linux require Dynamic Kernel Management System (DKMS) to be installed. If Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) and Secure Boot is enabled, kernel modules may require cryptographic signatures. For more information, see Add Linux endpoints and Kernel module not running in EDR.
Note: For optimal performance, we recommend reserving 1.1Mbps of network bandwidth for every 100 endpoints using Suspicious Activity Monitoring.
