You can generate on-demand and scheduled reports on the Configure > Reports screen of Nebula. Select a time period or specific dates for each report. Reports are emailed as a PDF, or CSV file and can be saved locally.
Super Admins see reports for all users on this page. Other user roles only see the reports they own.
Create report
- Go to Configure > Reports.
- Click New.
- Enter a name for the report.
- Select a report type. Different formats and reporting periods can be selected depending on the report type. The following report types are available:
Report type Description Reporting period File formats Detections Displays information related to detected malware, PUPs, PUMs, ransomware, websites, and exploits. 1-365 days - CSV
Device Control Summary Displays a list of actions taken on drives connected via USB. 1-90 days - CSV
Endpoints Displays the current summary information for endpoints, such as protection status and last seen date. As of today - CSV
Events Displays a list of events in Nebula. 1-30 days - CSV
Quarantine Displays a list of all currently quarantined items. As of today - CSV
Software Inventory Summary Displays the software inventory of each asset. As of today - CSV
Tasks Displays a list of tasks issued from Nebula and their status. 1-90 days - CSV
Security Summary Report Provides a formatted summary of your environment. Available for Super Admins only. For more information, see Security Summary Report in Nebula. 1-90 days - For information on reports for modules and services:

- Select a format:
- Overview (.pdf): A PDF report that includes graphs for a visualization of the data.
- Raw Data (.csv): A CSV report that includes only the raw data.
- Select a reporting period if available.
- The owner field is automatically set to the logged-in user. Reports can be modified by any Super Admin or the report owner. Super Admins can change the report owner if required.
- Select a delivery schedule:
- On-Demand: As soon as it finishes generating. Click Generate on the Reports page to begin generating a report.
- Daily: Every 24 hours.
- Weekly: On one or more days every week.
- Monthly: On a specific day once a month.
- Select a time zone for the data to be displayed.
- Enter additional recipients by filling out the Report recipients field. This can be existing users in Nebula, or you can enter new emails that are not users in Nebula.
- Enter an email subject line.
- Enter an email body message.
- Click Save.
Scheduled reports begin generating at 12:00 AM in your local time zone and a link to download the report is sent when complete. There may be a slight delay in delivery depending on the number of reports in the queue. Reports display data with both Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and your local time.
The link to download the report expires after 7 days. However, the Security Summary report link remains valid for 30 days.
Manually generate report
Reports can be manually generated ahead of their delivery schedule or in case a report is created for on-demand only.
- Locate the report you want to generate.
- Scroll to the right and find the Actions column.
- Click Generate.
Edit report
To modify a report:
- Click on a report name.
- Update the details as needed.
- Click Save.
Delete report
To stop receiving specific reports:
- Select the checkbox next to the reports.
- In the top-left, click Actions.
- Click Delete.
- In the confirmation window, click Delete.
Reassign report
Only Super Admins and the report owners can modify or delete a report. If you need to change ownership of a report to a different admin, Super Admins can:
- Select the checkbox next to the reports.
- In the top-left, click Actions.
- Click Reassign.
- Select another Nebula user.
- Click Save.
