Our DNS filtering solution provides three templates to jumpstart your network security. While these templates serve as excellent baselines, they are fully customizable. You can use a template as a starting point and then add or remove specific categories to fit your organization's requirements.
Once a template is assigned, it becomes independent of future updates. Any subsequent changes, including newly added categories, are not automatically applied to templates that have already been assigned.
Below is a breakdown of what is included in each template:
- Basic Protection Template: This template focuses exclusively on Security Categories. It is designed to block threats such as malware, phishing, and botnets, without restricting standard web content or user browsing habits.
- Balanced Protection Template: This template includes all the security of the Basic plan but adds a layer of Content Filtering to prevent access to high-risk or unprofessional categories, such as adult content and gambling.
- Strict Protection Template: This is our most restrictive maximum-security mode. It blocks nearly all non-essential web categories by default, leaving only the most critical parts of the web open.
