Symptoms
- No AI tools appear on the AIDR dashboard.
- A specific AI tool you know is in use isn't showing up as detected.
Cause
This happens when:
- The tool runs locally rather than on a monitored domain
- An exclusion is added for the domain
- The endpoint using the AI tool isn't reporting online.
Resolution
- Go to Configure > Exclusions and verify there are no exclusions for the AI domain.
- Go to Monitor > Endpoints and verify the endpoints you expect to see are reporting online with the Last Seen column.
- Check whether it's a locally running AI tool. Local LLM servers and AI browser extensions aren't detected during this initial phase.
